TVU Networks used IBC 2026 to round out the One family with a cheaper, IP-only sibling. TVU One IP keeps the chassis, monitor and fleet management of the flagship pack, and drops the SDI and HDMI glass that most of its cost sits behind. What's left is a transmitter built specifically for sources that are already IP: NDI feeds, UVC cameras, and unattended positions that never see a camera operator.
What's actually different
TVU One IP runs on the same TM930V4 chassis as TVU One, with the same built-in monitor, the same fleet provisioning through TVU Command Center, and the same ISX bonded transport underneath. The change is on the input side: no SDI, no HDMI, UVC and NDI sources only. That's a meaningful bill-of-materials reduction on a pack that, in its SDI form, is priced for flagship production.
Where it's built for
- NDI-native studios and OB setups: no SDI-to-IP conversion needed when the source is already NDI.
- Unattended and fixed camera positions: PTZ and remote cameras that stream IP natively, with no operator swapping cables on site.
- UVC sources: the same USB-C UVC input path used on TVU Pocket, for any UVC-compliant camera or capture device.
- Budget-conscious fleet expansion: broadcasters standardised on TVU who want more units in the field without paying for SDI glass they won't use.
TVU One vs TVU One IP
| TVU One | TVU One IP | |
|---|---|---|
| Inputs | SDI, HDMI, UVC | UVC and NDI only |
| Chassis | TM930V4, built-in monitor | Same TM930V4 chassis and monitor |
| Best for | Full camera-back integration, pro glass, flagship live | NDI-native setups, unattended cameras, IP-only sources |
| Fleet management | TVU Command Center | TVU Command Center, same as TVU One |
Who it suits
- Broadcasters running NDI infrastructure: skip the SDI-to-IP conversion step entirely and transmit straight off the network.
- Multi-camera unattended coverage: fixed venue cameras, remote PTZ positions, and IP cameras that need bonded transmission without a full SDI pack.
- Fleets standardising on TVU: add units to an existing TVU Command Center fleet at a lower per-unit cost where SDI isn't needed.
