KPG has sold and supported TVU's bonded transmission and IP contribution gear in South Africa for years. IBC 2026 was one of TVU's larger announcement weeks: a new hardware category, a working AI product with production deployments, and a distribution pitch built for broadcasters carrying satellite and fibre costs that IP alternatives can now address.

TVU Pocket
A phone-sized transmitter running two SIMs and two Wi-Fi links bonded live over TVU's ISX transport, four paths in total. USB-C takes any UVC camera, including DJI Osmo. Priced at approximately R64,770 landed in South Africa, subject to exchange rates and duties, built for reporters and sideline crews who currently carry a bonded backpack or nothing at all.

TVU One IP
A low-cost, IP-only variant of the TVU One transmitter with no SDI or HDMI input, UVC and NDI sources only. Built on the TM930V4 chassis, it extends TVU's existing IP camera support to a dedicated, cheaper transmitter for unattended or NDI-native setups.
TVU Cortex
A single operator view pulling live feeds, recordings and AI-surfaced content into one newsroom command centre, with auto-clipping and relevance scoring built on TVU Search. Already in production with ABC News and Nexstar's Newswire, with custom builds reportedly standing up in days rather than the usual roadmap quarter.
MediaMesh Platform Tools
The pipeline layer under most of TVU's other announcements this year. Build is a drag-and-drop canvas for composing TVU and partner modules into a working pipeline; Observe adds monitoring for distributed workflows; Operate adds quality control. MediaMesh now also acts as a MediaHub source and speaks both MXL and TVU's own shared-memory model.
Reuters Scalable Live Workflows
A joint initiative bridging Reuters' Live Production Exchange into TVU MediaMesh, built to scale Reuters' 24/7 live signal feed over IP using TVU MediaHub and TVU NOC. Demonstrated live on the TVU stand at IBC, with a joint Reuters and TVU session running during the show.
The case against satellite and fibre
TVU's pitch to anyone still paying for transponder time: European spectrum once reserved for C-band is being reallocated to 5G, satellite capacity has consolidated hard since the SES-Intelsat merger, and legacy IRDs are ageing out with no upgrade path. TVU's answer covers contribution, routing, distribution and operations as four separate layers, so a broadcaster can migrate one at a time.
