The Blackmagic ATEM SDI is a 4-input SDI live production switcher built for broadcast and event setups already running SDI cameras, with built-in streaming and a compact control panel.
SDI-based rigs need a switcher that speaks their language without HDMI converter boxes cluttering the truck or booth. The ATEM SDI takes 4x 3G-SDI inputs, each with its own standards converter so 1080p, 1080i and 720p sources are automatically matched to the switcher standard, and streams straight to a computer over USB-C at up to 1080p60. A built-in 6x2 Fairlight audio mixer and DVE for transitions, picture-in-picture and chroma key round out a genuinely portable broadcast switcher.
